Details:
On Jan/16, the comet was easy to spot with a naked eye 20-25 minutes after the sunset from the summit of Mauna Kea, Hawaii. I am observing at one of the telescopes these nights so it was quite easy to just step outside and take a few pictures (under strong wind and freezing temperatures). The first time I saw the comet on Jan/14 from Wiamea, Hawaii using 14x100 binoculars -- just 5 minutes after the sunset. The sky was too bright to spot it with a naked eye but really easy with a binocular -- I even took a 1/80sec exposure with a 105mm f/4 lens and it was clearly visible. Yesterday (Jan/15) from the summit of Mauna Kea the comet was an easy pick with little binoculars (8x40) 10min after the sunset. Then with a naked eye until it set at around 18:52 local time.
