Details:
After clouds interrupted an attempt at the comet yesterday, I gave it another shot today. Being 6 degrees away from the sun at 10:45AM MST/1745UTC, helped get it further out of the sun's glare. The northward curve of this short segment of the tail is evident.

This frame is cropped considerably from the original. Estimated width of this crop is 25 arc minutes, so today's stack of images reveals about 10-12 arc minutes of the tail.

Sure would be nice if this comet would check a train of synchrones into our night sky as it heads for the southern hemisphere.
