Details:
The occultation of Saturn by the Moon earlier tonight was a magnificent view but it was freezing cold here in Stockholm.
This picture is taken about 1 minute prior to the beginning of the occultation but it was easy to follow because of the strong earthshine that illuminated the Moons dark side.
It is easy to forget how small Saturns angular size is compared to the Moon until they appear side by side, it's less than 1%.
