Details:
I have seen this phenomenon from Anchorage on many occasions, but never with as much distortion and inversion as there was today. This is the Alaska range as seen from Anchorage AK. Denali, AKA Mt. McKinley's peak at 20,310 feet seems to rise above the inversion layers and is unaffected. Between this and the Aurora last night we're off the great start in 2025.
