Details:
A 22 degree halo surrounding the Moon accompanied by Jupiter. Conditions have persisted for several hours here in the DC Metro area (known locally as the DMV). A warm front is approaching with rain about two days out. Often high thin cirrostratus cloud layer overspreads the area in advance of the warm front setting up conditions for ice crystal phenomena. Hopefully it will persist tomorrow and the Sun can go to work on the ice crystals.
