Saturn occultation was observed in Japan on Dec. 8, 2024. The east part of Japan observed complete occultation, and the west part observed Saturn's passing by. The realtime speed movie of occultation of Saturn was uploaded in YouTube and it shows that Saturn entered slowly into the earthshine part of Moon in tens of seconds. https://youtu.be/UM3VsbR0Zeo Sony ILCE-7S digital camera, ISO 12800, f=240mm (x2 zoom).
