It's that gray time of year around here - still technically Autumn but more like Winter. I think Kurt Vonnegut called this "locking season" (as opposed to "unlocking season" when Winter shifts into Spring. I was surprised to see unexpected rings of color in the cloud cover around the Sun as snow flurries drifted through the bare trees. Brrrr! Stay warm and Happy Locking Season! Ed
