Details:
Amazingly beautiful Sun Dog from 37,000 feet heading west over West Texas on afternoon of November 29, 3024. We were cruising above several layers of fairly uniform ice crystals that had formed in the low 30,000 foot range. A zoom in to the solar disc revealed a possible magnetic filament arch as well, though this may just be a lens artifact. This photo was taken with iPhone 14 Pro in photo mode.
