The aurora appeared quite early and completed the scene, allowing The photos were taken on November 21, 2024, in the Reykjanesviti area. They depict a volcanic plume accompanied by the northern lights, with an icy walkway near steaming hot springs in the foreground. I arrived at Reykjanesviti around 7:30 PM and was surprised by the absence of other people, as the view from this spot was absolutely stunning! Volcano photos tend to appear immediately after an eruption, but I was searching for something unique to avoid capturing the same perspectives. Even so, I was astonished by the magic of this place that evening! The path to the hot springs was completely covered in ice, resembling a fairytale landscape. It was very cold, but calm, with no wind at all.
