Details:
This Saturday, November 16th, I captured an impressive solar prominence with my H-alpha telescope. The prominence reached a height of approximately 90,000 km—an awe-inspiring figure on its own. However, the most striking feature was an enormous filament stretching across the entire southern hemisphere of the Sun, spanning an incredible 860,000 km—more than twice the distance between the Earth and the Moon! Its colossal size truly defies our ability to comprehend it.
