I share this photo of Saturn with the major satellite Titan and its shadow slightly visible as a dark dot on the southern edge of the planet. On 20 November, at around 8:30 p.m., a new transit will begin, with the shadow of Titan passing a little further north and thus better visible through the telescope. Since the opposition is now distant, you can also see a part of the shadow of the gas giant projected on its rings.
Fortunately the seeing at the time of the shooting was good and the humidity rate was not yet high.
