Details:
While taking photographs of a fairly ordinary volcanic sunset from my house on Murambi Heights, the presence of an unusual Space-X Logo shaped cloud was noticed on the left-hand side of my view towards Hospital Hill and Chikanga Township. The gradual progress of this cloud was then followed from 6.06 to 6.23pm as it rose higher in the sky and headed towards Venus which was shining bright in darkening blue sky above a colourful receding volcanic sunset twilight arch. This is shown in the following still images and photo montages in which the X-shaped cloud finally meets up with Venus before disappearing from view. The shape of the cloud was the result of pure coincidence and a wonderful example of pareidolia in which it mimicked the appearance of the Logo created by Elon Musk for his Company Space-X. What is even more incredible is that the cloud headed towards and ‘rendezvoused’ with one of the planets to which future space voyages by Space-X may occur! Camera: Tripod-mounted Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS40 in sunset mode.
