Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan_ATLAS) continues to fade as it moves away from the Sun and Earth. On the evening of 2024 November 1 UT the comet was magnitude 6.7 with a 3 degree long tail. The images from previous days show how the comet is quickly getting fainter, although a magnitude 6 comet is not faint. The comet continues to appear very dusty in color images. click on each large image to get the best resolution image.
