Details:
I took a glance at one of my sub-exposures of c/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-Atlas), and saw a streak of light. I originally had thought it was a bright satellite, but a closer look revealed I had captured a meteor alongside the comet! I only took around 50 10s exposures, I was in the right place at the right time! I was using my Canon 5D Mark III DSLR and a 70-200mm lens on a tracking mount, and this was taken just after sunset on October 25, 2024. Some additional details, I am a 15 year old stargazer from Tomball, TX, and I started to really get into this hobby after seeing the annular solar eclipse back in October of 2023. I have been hooked to the hobby ever since, and have been posting my images to my facebook account, 'Stargazer Kaleb'.
