Details:
Comet C/2023 A3 was swimming in a mottled bloom of airglow over the San Francisco Peaks tonight. It was a quiet night up on Robinson Crater. No skunks, just owls calling out in the forest. One of the wide images here while the other camera & star tracker were running magnified images. It's a lot fainter than weekend before last, but still a good naked eye view with 7° of the tail visible.
The dust tail stretched to at least 9° in 15x70 binoculars with another 2° of the antitail showing that way. Photographically, it looks like 20° of the tail is stretching up to the Milky Way.
