Details:
On Oct 19, 2024, the comet had enough elongation from the Sun and the moon phase was waned enough so it could be seen very well in a dark sky. This day the weather conditions were also very favorable. The tail was at least 10° long by naked eye. The globular cluster Messier 12 can be spotted on the upper left corner. Taken from Gran Canaria, Canary Islands (Spain). Tech details: Canon R7, 60x20", guided, 85mm, f/2.8, ISO1600. Processed with PixInsight.
