Details:
Even living under the absurd sky glow in an outer NYC borough, the comet continues to impress. Perhaps mag 3 now, so fading; but who can tell from here with the skyglow and the full moon exerting its unwanted influence? A bit of very elementary filter application to raw images shows a tail of 5-10 degrees, clearly. Used 135mm Nikkor at f4 w eff FL of 270 shot with a micro-4/3 cam. Also thru AT102mm refractor at prime focus, same camera. Taken nights of 10/16 and 10/17
