And the final result from last night's comet imaging session: evolution inside the inner coma of comet Tsuchinshan–ATLAS showing one dynamic jet moving quite fast. My previous estimation for the rotation of the nucleus (6hrs +/-1h) might be wrong, as, in my opinion, the fast movement of the measured jet could be the result of surface activity of some king, rather than the actual rotation of the body. This type of animations, using the Larson-Sekanina filter, are far more relevant compared to just two images. Sequence acquired with a 355mm F/4.5 Newtonian, ASI183MM in Bin 2x2, 11 series of 200 frames each, 0.5seconds exposure. 20 minutes worth of animation.
