October 15, 2024, 8:37 PM Comet A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS over the Sawtooths. Earlier fighting clouds higher up and later wildfire haze closer to the horizon. An 89% full moon directly behind me. Almost exactly 4 minutes later the Earth’s rotation caused the nucleus to disappear behind the mountains. Sony A1, Sony 70-200 f/5.6 @ f/5.6, ISO 5000, 1.6 second.
