Details:
I imaged Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS). My image was taken shortly after sunset with a Canon 300mm lens. As the night went on the sky got darker and the comet got more easier to see. I could see it in my camera viewfinder. Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) is a comet from the Oort cloud discovered by the Purple Mountain Observatory in China on 9 January 2023 and independently found by ATLAS South Africa on 22 February 2023. The comet passed perihelion at a distance of 0.39 AU on 27 September 2024, when it became visible to the naked eye. I was lucky to have had the opportunity to image this beautiful comet at its closest distance to Earth on 10-12-2024.
I have more images to share that I used larger camera lenses. The largest was the Canon 300mm @.2.8 It is small in this image. At the time of this image, you could just start to see some of the comet's tail.
Kind Regards To ALL 🙂
