Details:
An unexpected view of Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS taken in Central Utah on 10-12-2024. I was driving across Utah and spotted the comet through the windshield shortly after sunset. I quickly pulled over at a rest stop, franticly grabbed my cameras, and started taking photographs. The comet was easily visible to the naked eye roughly 15 minutes before this exposure. The moon helped reveal the rugged canyons of the incredible landscape. This single exposure was shot on a Nikon D850 & 24-70mm f/2.8 lens @ 34mm f/2.8, 13 seconds of exposure, at ISO 3200.
