Details:
It took around 45 minutes after sunset before the comet started to become visible. The views through 10x50 binoculars were spectacular! The tail and coma were obvious to the naked eye. The tail was also naked eye visible for a few minutes after the comet's coma was below the horizon. I look forward to making more observations of this comet over the next few days! It's been a great year for astronomy!
