Details:
On the evening of October 12th, the celestial spectacle of Comet Tsuchinshan Atlas graces the dusk sky, marking its triumphant return as the king of astronomical phenomena in 2024. Captured through an old Nikkor 200mm f4 lens mounted on a Fuji XT2 camera, this moment is a culmination of 40 stacked 1.3-second exposures processed in Photoshop. Despite being in the heart of light and air-polluted Tehran, a gentle wind aided my efforts, allowing me to capture the comet just 5 degrees above the horizon. Indeed, it is a moment to celebrate the 'Return of the King' in the realm of astronomy!
