Details:
Superb display of aurora over Eastern WA state on the night of 9/10/2024. Shot these with either Nikon D850 or Nikon Z7ii with 14-24mm lens.
Unusual in my experience, the aurora were even visible before the last bit of daylight had left the sky. A waxing crescent moon lit the landscape.
Looking for something a little different, I included a shot taken of the Patah, WA grain elevator and the headlight of a passing BNSF freight train
