Details:
Here is Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS emerging into the evening sky, low in the twilight, on October 11, from southwest New Mexico. It was easy in binoculars if you knew just where to look. But it was not naked eye. The wide view includes Venus for comparison. The telephoto image resembles the view through binoculars, with a short stubby tail visible.
