Best aurora I've ever witnessed! There were clear skies and good transparency for a change as there often is not, and I traveled 10 mi outside of town for darker skies. Nearly all the colors of the rainbow were visible except for orange and blue! Before leaving the location, I pointed the camera south and took the unique auroral band through Orion. Just incredible display! Canon S90, 100 ISO, 6-12 mm @ f/2.5, 15 sec.
