Details:
We were taking pictures of the Aurora at Kingman Wildlife Area in Kansas. My son, Clancy pointed his camera due east and remarked that there was an arc of light. There was the same thing due west and they appeared to be connected. It was too faint to see with the eye, but showed up in the exposure. The aurora was due North of us and was not connected. Any idea what it was? Canon EOS 60D, Ronkinon 10mm lens,f2.8, Iso 1000, 30 seconds,12:48 am CDT
