Details:
The first event of the night was a SAR arc that was (at times) easily visible to the naked eye, it stretched from the eastern sky to the west. Around 9:00pm CST a wall of vibrant red aurora was visible to the naked eye, a few minutes later green aurora started to become visible as well. I'm very grateful to have been able to see two very stunning geomagnetic storms from my own backyard at 33° north, and in the same year as well! May 10th and October 10th will go down in history for sure! What a crazy year it's been for space weather.
