Details:
Grab a camera or cell phone, go outside, shut the door. Beyond that, words escape me.
Technical/perspective. Images taken with a iPhone at about 7:30 to 8pm Eastern Time Oct 10, 2024 (Shortly before 0000 UT Oct 11). Taken from north part of Skyline Drive looking east to notheast. The "W" shape of Cassiopeia is near image center in both images.
Storm is still going strong as i write this at nearly 11pm... auroras were nearly at zenith a few minutes ago. This is at 39deg latitude....
