Crazy night of firsts for me. Usually the northern lights are... in the north sky. Tonight they were dead east, became very bright, and flashed us a bit of orange and lots of red. At one point the entire cloud deck was glowing red (also something I've never seen before). Shots taken with Canon R6 Mark II. 8 Second exposure, F2.8, ISO 1250.
