Details:
The auroral storm may have been fading, but it went out with a bang here in New Zealand. The southern skies were alight with an amazing display of the aurora. Despite bright moonlight, reds and greens were clearly visible as beams lit up the sky. Also an amazing interaction between STEVE, the SAR arc and a picket fence did battle overhead. A night to remember !
