Details:
After tracking progress of the multiple CME's of around 6 October as reported by spaceweather.com and almost giving up seeing anything, gorgeous aurora came out of nowhere, in just minutes, to light up the hills and harbour of the Otago Peninsula. Further west, over the city of Dunedin, STEVE put in a brief but bright appearance.
