Details:
What a night. As the sun set over the Otago Peninsula here in New Zealand anticipation was high. The auroral indicators were off the scale, but by golly the night exploded into light for a few hours after sunset. Also on show was an incredible display of the SAR arc which did it's whole "turning into STEVE" thing, accompanied by amazing green pickett fence auroras. A night to remember!
