Details:
I was out early on September 27th, 2024 to attempt a view of the comet along Lake Superior in Minnesota. We didn't see it that morning, but I happened to capture some distortion and what appears to be some sort of "Green Flash" at sunrise. I have photographed a green flash a few times before in California, Hawaii, Florida and even New Jersey, but always at sunset! I have never seen one at sunrise. Is this it? It obviously is a couple minutes after Sunset here, can the effect still happen when the Sun is completely above the horizon, but extremely low? Nikon Z9 @ 560mm and cropped it a little.
