Details:
My dog and I were crossing a dark field back to the house when I noticed a red glow to the sky. A distant storm was passing to our west, so at first I thought it might be an effect of that. Then, somewhat rapidly, the glow took on the form of the aurora I’d seen back in May- this time more purplish-red than the greens I’d witnessed before. It lasted just a few minutes before fading out.
