Details:
We watched the eclipse from Rapa Nui/Easter Island, overlooking the moai on the shore near Hanga Roa. The ingress and egress netted many unfiltered images of the chromosphere, prominences and Baily’s beads. These images were taken with a Sigma 150-600mm lens at 600mm on a Canon 80D at ISO 100 and f20 at 1/8000s. During annularity, the ring was decorated with a lovely sunspot!
