Details:
Hopefully you will have better luck than I did this morning. I had a perfectly clear blue sky in all directions--except(!) above the mountains that the comet rose behind. There was a small bank of clouds that just sat there for the entire time I ran my timelapse (nearly an hour) until it got too bright to see any comet. Only the first 7 frames (just over 2 minutes) show the comet rising into the clouds, and the rest were deleted.

Photo data:
Panasonic G9, TTArtisan 50mm lens, iOptron SkyTracker Pro
... timelapse: 7 frames kept out of 100 taken; one frame every 20 seconds
... the 7 frames were all at (f/2, 8 sec, ISO 400) using Program mode
... date: Sep 27, 2024; session time for the 7 frames: 6:26-6:28am MDT
