Details:
On a work trip to Juarez, Mexico, I decided to rent a car and head out to City of Rocks State Park in New Mexico to photograph the Milkyway and Comet Atlas. Both were very successful. The tail on Atlas is much longer than I anticipated. In the image you can see the comet rising just before sunrise next to Mount Cooke.
