Details:
Using a remote telescope in Chile with a piggy backed dslr lens and cooled one shot colour camera, as well as a wide angle webcam, I have been tracking this comets brightness over the last week. The comet has brightened considerably! The view from home in Canada is nonexistent, so remote access is all I can do until it becomes visible here in the coming days. On Sept 19 I had to take a 60s image to capture the faint comet, today I took a 30 second exposure because it was so bright. The tail appears to extend off the frame and I'm guessing it could be 6 or 7 degrees long.
