Details:
The aurora was partly washed out by the nearly full moon, but was still very obvious visually and the camera recorded some nice greens, pinks and reds. The aurora was easily visible from my back yard in the country, with rays cascading down from the zenith and extending down the northern sky and even to maybe 45 degrees from the southern horizon! Green banding was also visible closer to the northern horizon. The best display lasted for a little over an hour. Canon EOS T5i, Rokinon 14mm, f2.8, 3 second exposure at ISO 3200.
