Details:
What a night, woke up around ½ past midnight and noticed that the cme had finally arrived, time to get my gear together and head out. There were a lot of clouds early on but this slowly cleared and then the aurora exploded into life, with rays well beyond Polaris, and reds clearly visible to the eye, despite the nearly full moon. This 5 shot pano was taken with my IRIX 15mm lens and composed using Hugin. I decided on a fisheye projection as it preserves the shape of the rays a bit better. Taken at 0324 UTC
