Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS is brightening rapidly. This image was taken on 2024 September 15 at 19:29UT using a Canon 6D + Sigma 200mm lens. 3x5 sec at iso1600. FOV 3 deg. North lower left from Swan Hill, Victoria, Aus. My visual estimate using a pair of 15x70mm binoculars was 4.6. Appearing strongly condensed with a short tail. The observation was made at the start of nautical twilight. The comets altitude was 4.5 degrees. I used comparison star Delta Sextans (mag 5.2) at same altitude.
