Details:
Gibbous phase moon taken one day prior to International Observe the Moon Night. The observing site was the Siding Spring Observatory, Australia. The 0.43-m f/6.8 reflector + CCD telescope/detector was used to image the moon. An H-alpha filter was also used to surpress the excess light, preventing saturation. The spatial resolution was 0.63 arcsec/pixel.
