Details:
The auroras put on a mighty fine show from Alaska’s Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge during the early morning hours of September 14, 2024. As my wife & I road-tripped here yesterday in the afternoon rain, we hoped out loud that our Friday the 13th bad luck weather would change and the dreary forecast would crack open in the middle of the night. Sure enough, it did! Whew! A little after midnight the air cooled, the stars popped out and the auroras shone through. The 1st & 2nd dimensions of width & height, x & y, are clearly covered here as with any 2D photograph, but it’s the 3rd dimension that I find z most intriguing; Depth. Cheers to 3D Space.
