Details:
I hesitated uploading these, but I'm thinking I may have been one of the very few in Upstate NY to see them. I was snapping shots of Orion at 4:50am, when I noticed a pinkish background glow in the captured photos. I quickly drove out to Willard Road for less obstructed skies, and was surprised to see very dim pink/red aurora forming under a measly KP 5+ (Normally, bare minimum we need a KP7, but I got lucky.) Note: the white glow is the light pollution from the car dealerships in Henrietta NY... ugh.
