Details:
We are camping in the Mackinac City area hoping to see some auroras. I received an alert last night that an unexpected crack in the Earth's magnetic field was spurring some auroras, so we headed over to the Old Mackinac Lighthouse at the base of the Mackinaw Bridge. By midnight, we were seeing some lovely colors and even some pillars.
