Details:
Comet C/2023 V4 (Camarasa-Duszanowicz) imaged on July 27, 2024. Although it is definitively moving away and dimming below magnitude 12, I didn't want to miss the opportunity to photograph it in color when it was next to the beautiful magnitude 11 spiral galaxy NGC 3893. The exposure time was 25 minutes at 25 degrees above the horizon, with poor transparency and from a bright suburban sky. Telescope TS-Photon 8" N f/3.6 Mount SkyWatcher EQ6R-Pro Camera Atik 383L+ Exposure 25 min. (L=22x60 bin1 + RGB=1x60 bin2) From Vallés, Valencia (Spain)
