Details:
This image was taken about midnight on May 10, 2024 during the G5 magnetic storm and best aurora seen in 20 year here in southern Wisconsin. It is looking east over Lake Winnebago from Fond du Lac. Camera is a Canon Ti2 Rebel with a 10-20mm wide angle lens, 1600 ISO, 15s exposure. The second image was taken a few minutes earlier and shows how dynamic the lights were that night. There may be a bit of orange in the image.
