During the famous storm of oct 30th, 2003, I was in Sherbrooke, Quebec at my sisters place to help making Halloween decorations and the sky turned red!…in those days, I was still using film,,,,look at the sky,,,,it was around 8 or 9 pm,,,,not pitch black!,,,,where does the black comes from?,,,i don’t know!,,,underexposure?,,,,Nikon f90,,,,Fuji 800 asa film that was my preferred film for auroras,,,,Nikon 16mm f2.8 fisheye for the one with the skeleton ,,,,the vertical one mostly the Sigma 17-35mm f 2.8 a few seconds exposure for both,,,,
