The link I will include at the end here is to my 10 minute compilation of Timelapse’s from August 12/13. Towards the end of the video you can clearly see the orange mixing in with the red and yellow(?) auroras. Perhaps they were simply brighter. There are also two segments where the red became so vivid that it oversatured those parts of the image. It was also clearly visible to the naked eye as a bright vivid red in the sky. Captured from Mylor South Australia. You guys are welcome to Screen grab or cut out some sections of the video to use here provided that you credit me and give my Instagram a little plug ;) something like “To see the full video and more, check out David’s Instagram @davidluffpictures” Tech details on my Timelapses: Sony ZV-E1 camera with a Sony 24mm GM lens. 1 second exposure, ISO 12800, 24mm, f/1.4. S&Q mode 1 Second/frame 25 fps. I’ve included a photo too as I wasn’t sure if I needed to upload one for this message to get to you.
